LL-37 is the only known member of the cathelicidin family of antimicrobial peptides in humans, produced primarily by neutrophils, macrophages, and epithelial cells. Beyond its direct antimicrobial activity, research has explored LL-37's immunomodulatory roles including wound healing promotion and innate immune signaling.
Studies have characterized LL-37's broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity alongside its roles in stimulating angiogenesis, modulating Toll-like receptor signaling, and promoting epithelial cell migration in wound healing research.
Store lyophilized at -20°C, tightly sealed, away from heat, light and moisture. Once reconstituted, refrigerate at 2-8°C and use within 28 days.
Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water for multi-dose use (supports the 28-day refrigerated window), or an appropriate sterile diluent per your research protocol. Allow the vial to reach room temperature before reconstitution.
Stable for 18-36 months when stored lyophilized at -20°C or below, sealed and protected from light and moisture. Once reconstituted, use within 28 days refrigerated at 2-8°C.
